The caravan park is a great spot, right by the lakeside where you can truly unwind. The amenities are exceptionally clean, and the surroundings offer plenty of shade. However, I found it disappointing that there was no fridge available in the camp kitchen for unpowered sites, which may affect backpackers. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would come back without hesitation.

I stayed in an unpowered site, which was in close proximity to the lakes edge. While it was basic, it met my needs during the visit.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They truly went out of their way to ensure my comfort throughout my stay.

The park is beautifully situated on the banks of a lake, making it perfect for relaxation and nature watching. It’s also very convenient for exploring the area.

I enjoyed a delicious lamb shank meal during my stay, which was a generous portion and reasonably priced. The on-site dining options were a pleasant surprise.
Facilities

The amenities, especially the pools, are well maintained. However, the camp kitchen could benefit from some upgrades.

My stay at the Lakeside Resort was thoroughly enjoyable, with stunning views of the Ord River and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean and cozy, creating a comfortable retreat. The dining experiences were delightful, particularly the meals from the Sail Bar & Grill, though the breakfast could use a bit more variety. The swimming pool area was a lovely spot to relax, but some amenities could use a refresh. Overall, considering the location and amenities, it offered great value for money.

The self-contained unit I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the lake. However, the layout felt a bit off with the wardrobe next to the fridge and limited power points for appliances.
Service

The staff at the resort were incredibly nice and helpful, always greeting me with a smile. They responded quickly when I needed assistance, which made my stay enjoyable.
Location

The resort is set in a peaceful area just minutes from the town center, right by the lagoon. It was a beautiful spot for birdwatching and enjoying sunsets.
Dining

The food at the Sail Bar & Grill was delicious and the outdoor dining experience was lovely. I appreciated the gluten-free options available, but I felt the breakfast selection could be improved.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were generally well-maintained, with a nice pool that was great for relaxing. However, the pathways to breakfast could be better protected from the wet grass.

The resort has stunning views and beautifully maintained grounds, which are definitely its biggest strengths. However, the customer service experience was very disappointing, as I felt pursued by staff when I merely wanted to check the lunch menu. It really put a damper on the visit, though some other aspects made up for it, like the cleanliness of the amenities and the enjoyable meals. Overall, lovely place but could use a major overhaul in how guests are treated.

While the staff was friendly overall, one manager's attitude was quite off-putting, which was a real letdown.
Location

The location is breathtaking, right by the lakeside, making it a picturesque retreat, although it could use some updates inside.
Dining

The meal I had, a lamb shank, was large and very satisfying, but it was disappointing that the kitchen was not available for everyone.

The resort has a beautiful view and great grounds for outdoor activities, especially for bird-watching. However, the dining experience was disappointing, and the attitude of some staff members could use improvement. The facilities are generally nice, but there were some issues with cleanliness that need to be addressed.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a fantastic view of the lake, which was a big plus for us during our six-night stay. However, we had to ask for fresh towels after four nights due to the lack of daily housekeeping, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
The service varied; while some staff members were polite, I had an unpleasant encounter with the manager who chased us away when we just wanted to see the menu for lunch. This made us feel unwelcome.
Location
8.0
The location is stunning, right by the lake and surrounded by beautiful grounds, ideal for nature lovers. However, it's worth mentioning that it's not located in the best part of town.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was quite lackluster. Though breakfast was included, the options were average, and the outdoor setting was unfortunately spoiled by the food quality.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities are decent with potential for improvement. While there are nice areas to enjoy around the lake, the cleanliness could definitely be better.

I had a wonderful experience at this resort with excellent facilities and a beautiful lake view. The rates were quite reasonable, especially for a powered site during peak season, making it fantastic value for money. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it's definitely a hidden gem for anyone passing through Kununurra. The only downside was the need for some updates in the room layout for better convenience.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. However, the layout was a bit disjointed, which made things less convenient. It would be great to have a microwave and a toaster for added comfort.
Service
9.0
The service was exceptional; the staff was eager to help and went out of their way to provide support, even lending me a personal cooler bag for a festival. Their kindness and efficiency really stood out.
Location
8.0
The resort was situated by the lake, providing stunning views, but it's a bit far from the town center. Still, the walk along the lake was lovely, with plenty of birdlife to enjoy.
Dining
6.0
The restaurant offered a nice outdoor dining experience, which was lovely in the mornings near the lake; however, the breakfast options were average.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were great, with well-maintained areas and a nice ambiance by the pool. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views from my site.
