Reviews and Ratings <br />
The caravan park is a great spot, right by the lakeside where you can truly unwind. The amenities are exceptionally clean, and the surroundings offer plenty of shade. However, I found it disappointing that there was no fridge available in the camp kitchen for unpowered sites, which may affect backpackers. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would come back without hesitation.
My stay at the Lakeside Resort was thoroughly enjoyable, with stunning views of the Ord River and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean and cozy, creating a comfortable retreat. The dining experiences were delightful, particularly the meals from the Sail Bar & Grill, though the breakfast could use a bit more variety. The swimming pool area was a lovely spot to relax, but some amenities could use a refresh. Overall, considering the location and amenities, it offered great value for money.
The resort has stunning views and beautifully maintained grounds, which are definitely its biggest strengths. However, the customer service experience was very disappointing, as I felt pursued by staff when I merely wanted to check the lunch menu. It really put a damper on the visit, though some other aspects made up for it, like the cleanliness of the amenities and the enjoyable meals. Overall, lovely place but could use a major overhaul in how guests are treated.
The resort has a beautiful view and great grounds for outdoor activities, especially for bird-watching. However, the dining experience was disappointing, and the attitude of some staff members could use improvement. The facilities are generally nice, but there were some issues with cleanliness that need to be addressed.
I had a wonderful experience at this resort with excellent facilities and a beautiful lake view. The rates were quite reasonable, especially for a powered site during peak season, making it fantastic value for money. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it's definitely a hidden gem for anyone passing through Kununurra. The only downside was the need for some updates in the room layout for better convenience.
